License and Usage

Can I use the model/assets on YouTube/Twitch/Bilibili/... or other platforms?

The license does not restrict specific platforms. However, all use must follow the license terms.

Please review:

Can I offer retexture commissions or texture editing services using the model?

Providing model-related services such as retexturing or texture editing is not restricted by the License. However, both the service provider and the client must have their own valid license for the model, meaning they must each purchase the model directly from the Licensor's store, before any model files are transferred.

In general:

  • The service provider and client must each have purchased the model directly from the Licensor's store.
  • The service provider may transfer the model files (such as textures, expressions, etc.) to the client only if the client already has a valid license for that model.
  • A license cannot be transferred or resold. For example, purchasing multiple copies of the model and reselling or providing those licenses to clients is not permitted.
  • The service provider should provide proper credit to the original creator/Licensor.
  • The service provider should clearly inform clients that they must purchase the model from the Licensor's store themselves.

This applies regardless of whether the service is called a retexture commission, texture editing service, customization service, or something similar. The important factor is whether model files are being transferred to someone who has a valid license.

Can I have someone else help me retexture or edit the model?

You may have someone else help you retexture or edit the model, but the person providing the help must also have their own valid license for the model, purchased directly from the Licensor's store, before receiving any model files.

Please refer to "Can I offer retexture commissions or texture editing services using the model?" above for the relevant file transfer and licensing requirements.

Can I create or commission derivative works using the model/character design?

Derivative works are generally allowed when usage complies with the license.

Because individual project contexts vary, case-by-case approvals are not provided. Please evaluate your use against:

Can you review my project and confirm whether my use is allowed?

The license already defines the rights and permissions granted to you. If your intended use complies with the applicable license, you do not need to contact the Licensor for additional permission or confirmation. Your rights come from the license itself, rather than from a separate approval message from the Licensor.

Because of this, the Licensor does not provide case-by-case reviews or project-specific approval. Users are responsible for reviewing the license and determining whether their own use complies with its terms.

There are also practical reasons why individual projects cannot be reviewed reliably:

  • A project may change or expand after an initial question, so the information provided may no longer reflect the actual use.
  • A project description may not contain all the information necessary to evaluate every relevant aspect of the license.
  • It is not practical for the Licensor to review individual projects in detail or keep track of every project for which permission was previously requested.
  • Providing approval based on a limited description could create confusion if the actual project later differs from what was described.

If you have a question about the meaning of a specific term or provision in the license, you are welcome to contact the Licensor for clarification. However, the Licensor does not provide project-specific instructions on how to modify or structure a project to comply with the license, and does not provide case-by-case determinations or approvals.

Please review the applicable license and evaluate your intended use based on its terms. If you need legal advice or a formal assessment of a specific situation, please consult a qualified lawyer.
