Troubleshooting
The render quality is low, or I see white lines/pixels. How can I fix it?
This is usually caused by anisotropic filtering settings. See:
Only one eye moves when I use VBridger or certain tracking setups. How do I fix it?
First, check whether the corresponding eye input is receiving tracking data:
- Find the input for the eye that is not moving.
- Move your eyes and check whether its input dot moves.
If the input dot remains at 0, VTube Studio is not receiving tracking data for that eye. This indicates an issue with the tracking output configuration, not the model.
You can resolve this in one of the following ways:
- Follow the VBridger documentation to add the missing eye output and expression manually (if you have VBridger Editor DLC).
- In VTube Studio, configure the left eye input to use the right eye tracking input so that one input controls both eyes (most models are like this).
- Load the VBridger setup file included with the model download by clicking Load in VBridger and selecting the provided file (no need VBridger Editor DLC, more expressive).
Some tracking configurations provide output for only one eye. For example, the default VBridger setup outputs tracking data only for the right eye. If no output is provided for the other eye, only one eye on the model will move.
Some models use separate inputs for each eye, allowing more expressive movement. Some other models use one input to control both eyes. That approach can appear more stable because both eyes always look in the same direction, but it is less expressive and does not support cross-eyed movement.
The model cannot open its mouth in VTube Studio.
In VTube Studio, go to General Settings > External Connections and set Lipsync Type to Advanced Lipsync. You don't need a microphone to use this feature, just change the setting is enough.
If the issue continues, check whether VoiceSilence is bound correctly to the VTS input parameter with the same name. When the mic is off, this parameter should be 1 for mouth tracking to work properly.
