📄️ Face Tracking
This page covers face tracking methods in VTube Studio (VTS):
📄️ Mouse Tracking
Mouse tracking is always active while VTube Studio (VTS) is running. If you use a drawing tablet, stylus movement is handled as mouse position input.
📄️ Controller Tracking
This page covers the built-in controller tracking features in VTube Studio (VTS).
📄️ Basic Setup
For most models, basic setup is already configured and you do not need to change it. You may still want to review it when a package includes multiple idle animations or lost-tracking idle clips and you prefer a different default.
📄️ Hotkey Settings (Toggles)
For most models, toggle expressions and functions already have hotkeys configured. Default bindings are usually listed in the model’s Content section on this site. You can view or change them anytime in VTube Studio.
📄️ Model Customization
On customizable Live2D models, the customization states (outfits, colors, accessories, etc.) are usually saved as expressions in VTube Studio (VTS). An expression stores the current values of the model’s customization parameters (and any other non-physics parameters you include). The expression can be created and edited using VTS's Expression Editor.
📄️ Mesh Color Editing
In Live2D models, each layer of the model art is placed on a mesh. The combination of the art image and the mesh is called "ArtMesh" in Live2D terms (For more details, see Live2D Primer).
